THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST
We preach Christ, His birth, baptism, works, teaching, crucifiction, resurrection, ascension, and His second coming.
REPENTANCE - One must be Godly sorry for the sins he has committed.
JUSTIFICATION - This is the judicial act of God by which a sinner is declared innocent as if he had never sinned. It is not due to man's works, but to Christ's righteousness that one is justified through faith.
SANCTIFICATION - The act of God's grace by which he makes us Holy; one must be made true, perfectly Holy, and undefiled before God. After a clensing from sin, the sinner is presented "unspotted before the throne of God". This is the work of the Holy Ghost.
THE TRINITY - We believe in the Trinity, which is the Father as Creator, the Son as Redeemer, and the Holy Ghost as the Power and Keeper; each one separate personalities.
THE HOLY GHOST - The baptism of the Holy Ghost is the gift of power upon the santified life. "And they were all fillled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues and the spirit of God gave them utterance".
THE SECOND COMING - We believe in the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; that He is coming back to rapture His church, which is the body of Christ.
FAITH HEALING - We believe in the supernatural intervention of God in the faith healing of the total man, body and soul.
TITHES AND OFFERINGS - We believe according to the word of God, that each person is required to give God a tenth of his increase and to bring forth offerings.
WATER BAPTISM - We believe in water baptism according to the Word of God given in the book of the Apostles.
THE LORD'S SUPPER - We believe that Jesus instituted the Lord's Supper, that we might show forth His death until He comes. The fruit of the vine must not be fermented. Grape juice is preferred; not wine.
THE BLESSING OF CHILDREN - We believe in the importance of prayer and God's blessings upon our children. We encourage all parents to have laying on of hands for each child in prayer for God's guidance and protection.
DISCIPLINE - All discipline will be conducted in a spirit of Christian Meekness and Love with the intention to remove the offense and win the offender.
PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT (indulging in worldly affairs) - No visitations to night clubs, dances, or any other establishments with environments unbecoming Holiness. No playing the lottery or other games of chance (gambling). No membership in secret organizations.
SELF-INDULGENCE - We believe there should be no strong drink/alcoholic beverages, tobacco (smoking or snuff), illegal drugs, or lewd or lascivious living in one's life.
DRESS CODE - WOMEN shall dress in modest apparel at all times. It is requested that all female church members refrain from wearing pants during worship services or in an unbecoming manner outside of church activities. Requests concerning modesty also refer to jewelry, make-up and fingernails.
Women ministers are asked to wear the appropriate attire, ie. full length dresses with sleeves at least to the elbow. Also, hats, chapel cloths, and dressy foot wear (no sandals or open-toe shoes) are encouraged. No outlandish hair-dos or excessive jewelry are ever to be worn when officiating or conducting public worship.
MEN shall dress in an orderly fashion at all times. It is requested that all male church members refrain from wearing sleeveless shirts or tight fitting apparel during worship services or in an unbecoming manner outside of church activities. Requests concerning orderliness also refer to long or extreme hair styles, and earrings.
Men ministers are asked to wear the appropriate attire, ie. coat, tie and dress shoes (no sandals or tennis shoes). Also, a clean-cut & well-groomed appearance is encouraged. Again, no flashy or excessive jewelry are ever to be worn when officiating or conducting public worship.
OUR AIM IS TO ATTRACT SOULS TO CHRIST; NOT TO ONESELF.
